Learn How to Crochet an Infinity Scarf: Free Pattern

Pin it now, make later!

Learn how to crochet a beautiful infinity scarf with this beginner-friendly pattern. I absolutely LOVE infinity scarves they’re super versatile and can be made in any yarn with the corresponding crochet hook. This pattern is quick and easy to make, made up of one stitch repeated. You’re going to want one to match each outfit. I couldn’t resist making a pink infinity scarf and further down this post, you’ll see this pattern made in an indie dyed yarn.

    • Foundation chain: Chain 23
    • Rnd 1: tr into 4th ch from the hook, ch1, tr into same ch-sp. *Skip 2chains, tr, ch1, tr into same ch-sp* 6 times. tr into last ch-sp. Ch3

You could use any chunky weight merino wool as a substitute but this pattern would also work well with other types of yarn including acrylic

      1. It really depends on the yarn you are using, your hook size and your tension. I used approx 2-3 balls of yarn šŸ™‚

    1. There is a slight error in row 2 of this pattern! It doesn’t say to treble crochet into the top of the chain 3 šŸ™‚ x

          1. Hi Jenn Yes, you should start each row with a chain three and end each row by working a treble into the top of the turning chain from the previous row
