Learn how to crochet The Crochet Herringbone stitch with my free step-by-step pattern and video tutorials in right and left-handed versions. The Herringbone Treble Crochet Stitch is a stunning variation of the classic treble crochet (US Double), known for its subtle diagonal texture and sleek, woven appearance. This stitch creates a slightly tighter fabric compared to traditional treble crochet, making it perfect for garments, blankets, and accessories that need both structure and elegance.

Hey. Looks like a really pretty stitch. Is the 2cTC used in this pattern? Thanks for all the wonderful crochet and inspiration on this site. Absolutely love it!
Hi Katie You’re welcome, I’m really happy you like it! The 2Ctc isn’t used in this stitch; thanks for picking this up as it shouldn’t be listed in the abbreviations list. Apologies for any confusion 🙂
Is this pattern in UK or US terminology?
Hi Susan this pattern is written in UK terms with US terms in brackets.
Hey Bella,
In the video it says chain 2 for a new row and in the instructions above it says chain 3. Just wanted to let you know there was a discrepancy. You literally taught me to crochet through your videos.
Hi Megan, thank you for getting in touch the video is an assisted video only so I would follow the written pattern. I hope this helps 🙂
