- Yarn: Paintbox Yarns, Cotton DK (100% Cotton) 125m (137yds), 50g (1.76oz). 1 ball of Peach Orange.
- Hook: 3mm
- Darning Needle

About the Yarn
Paintbox Cotton DK is made from 100% cotton, and there is an enormous choice of colours on offer, I’ve shared some of my favourite colours below. Cotton DK yarn works great for this pattern because it creates a sturdy dense fabric that does not stretch.

Terms & Abbreviations
- Skip Stitch(s): sk st(s): Skip indicated stitch or chain.
- Chain(s): ch(s): Yarn over, pull through.
- Double Crochet(s): dc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
- Half Treble Crochet(s): htr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining three loops.
- Back Loop Only: BLO: Working into the back loop of the stitch. This abbreviation will follow with the stitch to be worked. E.g. BLOdc (Back loop only double crochet).

- Gauge isn’t crucial for this project, however, reduce your hook size if needed to create a sturdy fabric.

Convert Pattern Terms
Here you can quickly switch between UK and US crochet terms. This will make following the pattern easier as all terms will be converted to your preferred version.

You are viewing this pattern in UK terms.
With slip knot on the hook, work 6 dc around key chain attachment. Turn.
Row 1: Ch 1 (does not count as a st here or throughout), BLOdc in each st across. Turn.
Row 2-45: Ch 1, (ss, htr) three times. Turn.
Fold short side in line with unworked loops from row 1. Insert hook into first st of working row and in the first unworked loop from row 1, ss together. Continuing to work through both thicknesses, ss across the rest of the row.
Fasten off, sew in ends.
Turn your Wrislet into a Lanyard
Repeat row 2 until you reach your desired length that fits comfortably around your neck before joining.
