    Materials & Tools

    • Yarn: Hobbii Divina Aran/Category 4, 65% Alpaca, 28% Polyamide, 7%Wool, 150m (164yds)/50g (1.75 oz). 1 Ball each in shades: (Colour A) Rose (11), (Colour B) Cardamom (09), (Colour C) Natural White (02).
    • Hook: 5mm (H)
    • Scissors
    • Darning Needle

    Colour Combinations

    I had so much fun playing around with the different colours ways! Here are a couple I pulled together. For more colour inspiration you can upgrade to the PDF pattern here.

    • Colorway A: 31, 1, 04
    • Colorway B: 1, 18, 28

    Yarn Alternatives

    From time to time, you may want to use an alternative yarn than what is used in the pattern. This is totally fine, however, you do want to make sure that you are checking the yardage to ensure you have enough for your intended size. Please also make sure you are doing a gauge swatch so that you meet the pattern gauge. If you want to use an alternative yarn, here are a couple that I recommend:

    Terms & Abbreviations

    Stitch(s): st(s)

    Slip Stitch(s): ss(s): Insert hook, yarn over, pull through stitch and loop on hook.

    Chain(s): ch(s): Yarn over, pull through loop on the hook.

    Treble Crochet(s): tr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.

    Pattern Notes

    This pattern is written in UK terms but switchable to US terms above.

    You will be making one long rectangle with colour changes before joining the final row to the first row using a join as you go technique.

    Gauge & Size

    Measured over stitch pattern: 16 tr & 4 ch-sps X 6 rows per 10cm x 10cm (4 inch x 4 inch).

    Completed Size

    Length 193cm (76 inch) before joining 96.5cm (38 inch) approx. when joined/folded. Width: 20cm (8 inch)

    1-39

    Row 1: Work 2 tr in fourth ch from hook (skipped ch-3 counts as tr), ch 2, 2 tr in next ch, * skip 2 chs, 2 tr in next ch, ch 2, 2 tr in next ch; rep from * until 2 chs remain, skip 1 ch, tr in last ch. Turn .<30 tr, 7ch-2sp>

    Row 2: 3 ch (counts as tr), [2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr] in each ch-sp across, tr into top of ch-3. Turn.

    Row 3-39: Rep Row 2 changing to colour B in last pull through of the last st.

    40-117

    Row 40-78: Repeat row 2 changing to colour C in last pull through of the last st.

    Row 79-116: Repeat row 2.

    You will now be joining the working end to the foundation chain. Please ensure your work isn’t twisted.

    Row 117: Ch 2, sl st in base of first st from Row 1, [2 tr, ss between sets of 2 tr from Row 1, 2 tr] in each ch-sp across until you have 1 ch-sp remaining, tr into top of 3-ch. Sl st into base of ch-3 from Row 1.
    Turn.

    Fasten off and sew in ends.
