very nice but a bit quick π
struggle to see how you make the circle .
very beautiful!!
thanks for the nice videos!
Hi Angeliki
Youβre welcome To make the circle you are making a slip stitch (insert hook, yarn over and pull through both loops on hook) into the chain at the very end π
Hi, does it matter which side i insert the hook when making the slip stitch?
You should insert the hook in the same way as you would when making a normal stitch
Hello, I am a complete beginner – could I use this stitch to make a baby blanket?
Thanks π
Hi Kahlea You can only work this stitch in the round, so while it’s great for making bags and cowls but unfortunately not flat pieces like baby blankets. If you like the look of this stitch I would have a look at some of my other tutorials such as grit stitch which has a lovely texture too
Would this stitch work on border of blanket?
Yes you could use this for a border provided you keep working in the same direction, and donβt turn your work over after each round
Thankyou for all of your tutorials I have learnt many patterns thanks to you. I am 58 and only learnt last year. I have learnt the waffle stitch which I have made many blankets(my favourite), now cross stitch single crochet. Love the tutorials. Thanks again
You’re very welcome π
