MATERIALS AND TOOLS
HOOK(S)
3.00 mm crochet hook
YARN
YARN A – 50g • approx 125m
Rico Design – Fashion Cotton Metallise DK – 53% Cotton / 35% Acrylic / 12% Metallic Yarn
Colour: Amber 024 / Silver 004 / Chrome 010
YARN B – 50g (approx. 76.5 yards) King Cole Tinsel Chunky in:
Colour: Frozen – 3423 / Icicle – 4400 / Silver – 4200
Any alternative yarn scraps can be used to wrap the ring.

NOTIONS
Macrame Ring (6cm) – Larger Size Toppers
Small Keyring – Split Rings sold in packs of 10 (approx. 25mm) – Small Toppers
FINAL SIZE
Your finished project size will depend on the size of the ring you have used.
PATTERN NOTES
This pattern is written in UK terms but switchable to US terms below.
GAUGE
Tension is not important for this project. You can use the basic principles of the pattern to cover any ring size. You could even go large and make a tinsel Christmas wreath.
Convert Pattern Terms
Here you can quickly switch between UK and US crochet terms. This will make following the pattern easier as all terms will be converted to your preferred version.
CROCHET TERMS
Stitch/es (st/s)
Chain (Ch): Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook.
Double Crochet(s): dc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
Treble crochet (tr): Yarn over and insert your hook into the chain or stitch, yarn over and pull through (you will have three loops on the hook) yarn over and pull through two loops (you will have two loops on your hook) yarn over and pull the yarn through both of the remaining loops on the hook.
Slip Stitch (sl st): Insert hook, yarn over, pull through both stitch and loop on hook.
