I’m so excited to finally share my second book: Bella Coco’s Crochet Stitch Library is now available! In this post, I’ll be sharing some sneak peeks of what you can expect from my second book.

I wrote my first book, You Can Crochet with Bella Coco in 2022, and I’m thrilled to be bringing you this brand-new book full of my favourite stitches. While my first book is designed for absolute beginners, this book will take you further into your crochet journey.

Explore new stitches, discover new techniques, and gain a deeper knowledge of the art of crochet. Written in US terms with UK terms in brackets alongside. In addition to the launch of my second book, I have launched a handy stitch card deck!

About the Book
Starting with the key things you’ll need to get crocheting from advice on yarn and notions to essential techniques. Taking you through a gorgeous collection of stitches and motifs, from simple repeat patterns to incredible textured designs.
Every stitch includes:
- a clear photograph of the stitch worked up into a swatch.
- a difficulty level.
- multiples/repeats, so you can calculate how to work the pattern into an upcoming project.
- written instructions (using both US and UK terms) on starting the stitch, working the repeat and finishing off.

As a bonus, you’ll also find my five favourite border stitches, all photographed and clearly explained, for edge-finished inspiration. There are also three stunning projects included that feature a selection of stitches. See below for the exclusive projects.
Projects

Faded Wrap
This wrap or shawl is made up of rhythmic stitches with a fun play on colour, creating a gradient effect. Using a speckled yarn for the transition colour – the medium peach here – creates a subtle change between shades.

Fia Tote
Introducing the Fia Tote makes the perfect accessory to any outfit. The beautiful mini basketweave texture makes for a modern yet classic design.

Florence Blanket
The Florence Blanket is a great way to explore stitches and learn how to adapt different stitch multiples to make them work together.
