Coasters

Coasters are one of my most popular projects and I think it’s because they are so quick and easy to make. They are also super customisable, you can either crochet in a block colour, or why not change it up a little. Any DK weight yarn would be good for this project, ideally cotton, but acrylic will also be fine as a cup of tea or coffee in a mug shouldn’t get hot enough to melt the acrylic.

Oval Nesting Basket

I also have a tutorial for an oval crochet basket. This basket is a little bit larger to fit more in. I used an acrylic yarn to give a bit more of a floppy feel, but you could work this up in a cotton yarn to give a bit more stability. See below for the video tutorial.
